Important Safety Guidelines

• Use only in a well-ventilated area. Always strike and burn matches where there is sufficient airflow to dissipate smoke.
• Keep away from flammable materials. Do not use near aerosol sprays, air fresheners, paper towels, tissues, or cleaning products.
• Never leave a burning match unattended. Hold the match upright until it burns halfway, then safely extinguish it in water or a damp sink before disposal.
• Do not drop used matches into the toilet that are not fully extinguished. Dispose of them in a non-flammable container or metal sink basin once fully extinguished.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets. Matches are not toys and should only be used by adults.
• Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight, humidity, and high temperatures.
• Do not attempt to relight used matches or modify the matchbook.
• Never use near oxygen tanks or in rooms where combustible vapors (paint, gas, etc.) are present.

Best Odor-Neutralizing Results

• Light one match immediately after using the restroom.
• Allow the match to burn for 5 to 10 seconds, then blow it out.
• The smoke’s sulfur compounds will react with and neutralize airborne odor molecules.
• For larger or poorly ventilated bathrooms, you may use two matches in succession.

What Not to Do

• Do not light multiple matches at once. It is unnecessary and increases fire risk.
• Do not wave burning matches near fabrics, curtains, or toilet paper.
• Do not use matches to light candles or incense while still seated or near the toilet.
• Do not flush matches or covers. They can clog plumbing and damage septic systems.

In Case of Emergency

• If a match accidentally ignites another surface, smother the flame with a damp towel. Do not blow on it.
• If your clothing catches fire, Stop, Drop, and Roll.
• For burns or smoke inhalation, seek medical attention immediately.
• Call 911 if necessary.
